Admired for his striking realism and impressionistic style, Artbyaz—known as ‘Az’—was born Aaron Whitehouse in 1983 in Birmingham, United Kingdom.

A self-taught contemporary artist, Az developed an early interest in art during primary school. However, it wasn’t until two decades later, following a tragic accident, that his passion was reignited through rehabilitation ultimately redefining his creative path Today,

Az stands in a league of his own. Through thousands of hours of dedicated practice, he has refined his themes, techniques, and artistic knowledge. Experimenting across a wide range of mediums—including oils, charcoal, pastels, installation art, watercolours, markers, and acrylics,  he has developed a versatile and distinctive approach.
This exploration has enabled him to seamlessly integrate materials and elevate his craft to a masterful level.

Having found his true niche and passion, Az captivates audiences with bold colour work, fluid blends, and unique visual effects. His innovative pieces offer fresh perspectives, leaving a lasting impression on art lovers.

Over the years, his consistent delivery of exceptional work has built a diverse and loyal client base. Collectors from all walks of life are united by one thing—their ownership of a unique Artbyaz original.
